Combining our company philosophy, our principles of business … honesty, integrity and loyalty carry through to each client and project embarked on by LoneStar Vintage Restoration.

Scope Statement and Schedule:

At the beginning of each project, we meet with each client to develop a “Scope of Services” statement that is commensurate with his needs and desires. This mutual guide is used during the restoration process as a benchmark in maintaining budget constraints and adhering to a specific timeline. This process is established for each client and project to assure a controlled restoration process and avoid “run-away” project delivery and resulting cost.

The Scope of Work Statement is developed after a full review and explanation of each particular project. The Statement includes those items required to bring the project to a safe and accurate restoration condition, along the desires of the owner. Project budgets are established for each project based on our experience of completing similar projects. Each step of the project is scheduled and tracked for budget control and client cash flow management.

During the project, as unknowns arise or as a client’s desires dictate, a “Scope Deviation” Statement is logged that identifies changes in the original “Scope of Services” statement. The Deviation statement identifies why the changes occurred, resolution taken on approval of the client, and notification to project budget and schedule completion.

Because each project is unique, we proceed with each project on a time and material billing basis, projected against original and updated Scope budgets and agreed-to time schedule.

Scheduling restoration projects can be impacted by many unknowns, such as age and initial condition of the project. Therefore, each project schedule is developed in concert with the client.

Invoicing:

Billing statements are provided on a bi-monthly basis. Each statement clearly define craftsmen who worked on the project, hours worked, and is backed with a descriptive log which identifies activities for each day. Daily activity records are available to the client by noon the following day on our client-only website. Each client can login with his or her password and view the daily log, as well as high resolution digital images posted of that day’s efforts.

Insurance:

LoneStar Vintage Restoration Inc. carries business related insurance. However, it is recommended that each client maintain full insurance coverage on their vehicle or watercraft while it is at our shop, storage, or under transportation.

Visitation:

We encourage each client to visit the LoneStar Vintage Restoration shop and experience the satisfaction of being involved in the restoration of their project. For those clients unable to make a personal visit our “client only” web access to the shop enables virtual participation and “real-time” feedback on activities with respect to their project.
